Privacy statement

1. Overview

Canastapp lets you track the score of a Canasta game. The app is designed to keep the data you need to play while collecting as little as possible.

2. Data we collect

We process the following data to provide the service:

• Account email address — only if you choose to sign in.
• Game data: team names, player names, round scores. Stored against your account or, for anonymous users, against a device cookie.
• A pseudonymous identifier in an HTTP-only cookie so an anonymous session survives page reloads.

3. Third-party services

Pages are served over HTTPS. We do not embed third-party trackers or advertising. Push notifications (when enabled) are routed through OneSignal — their privacy policy applies to that data path.

4. Data retention

Game data is kept until you delete the game or close your account. Anonymous game data tied to a device cookie is deleted automatically when the cookie expires.

5. Your rights

You can request export or deletion of your data at any time. Use the contact details on the Imprint page.
